Hurricane Relief and Recovery Efforts

Our hearts and thoughts go out to all those who have lost so much in the recent hurricanes and, who will be working to rebuild their lives and communities for years to come. We encourage our members to support organizations that are conducting relief and rebuilding efforts.

Below is a list of selected organizations providing food and farming related assistance to areas impacted by the hurricanes, with an emphasis on groups that will support community development and empowerment as well as immediate relief. We will add to this list in the near future and welcome your suggestions.

We also encourage you to consider signing on to a letter from the Rural Coalition urging USDA to help farmers and farmworkers impacted by the hurricane: http://www.ruralco.org
